I relocated to Texas in 1988 and studied massage therapy. Massage is more than a job, it is my vocation.
I've practiced in Texas since 1989 and am currently a Licensed Massage Instructor as well as a Licensed Massage Therapist. I am active in the Texas Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association and have served AMTA Texas Chapter as Awards Chair, Secretary and Delegate. I've also chaired the Ft Worth Unit.
In addition to Swedish massage, I've studied Active Isolated Stretching with Aaron Mattes; CranioSacral Therapy and Lymphatic Drainage through the Upledger Institute; Prenatal, Postpartum & Infant massage through Bodywork for the Childbearing Year; Deep Tissue and Myofascial Release with Eric Dalton, Michael Shea, Eric Stevens and Ralph Stevens; Sports/Ortho massage with Benny Vaughn, James Wasleski, Whitney Lowe, Dan Ulric and Terry Norman. Some of my other training includes Acupressure, animal massage, Compassionate Touch, Critz Technique, Hanna Somatics, Orthobionomy, Reflexology and St John's Neuromuscular Therapy.
